I’m a Coach Because … I enjoy teaching and working with student/athletes who are committed to learning and who share a passion for the game of soccer. I feel that the most lasting contributions I can make to my players is not necessarily the development of their soccer skills, but more importantly, the development of their character. Through coaching I am instilling a sense of dedication and commitment, and a sense of responsibility and pride in what they do on and off the field. Through my coaching I am guiding each individual in becoming a better student/athlete and thus preparing my student/athletes for the next step in their lives.

Where does the love of soccer come from?

A better question might be, where does the love of sport-any sport- come from?

Does it begin at practice or during a game? Does it happen during the third game in two days at a tournament in ninety degree weather? Does it come from watching sports on television or attending packed stadiums and arenas?
